Hi Shadow, I too got a score of 490 which was totally unexpected. I have heard from many people that schools see the amount of improvement you have shown between two attempts. So you would be at an advantage if you score a 700 and that will be taken in a positive sense. So, don't worry..Prepare well...

Horrible score in GMAT !
I took my GMAT today and got a 490 (Q37, V21) :( I thought I had done well and would definately get atleast 650. Was really shocked to see my score. More weightage for RC in GMAT?
I heard from my friend that in GMAT, RC carries greater weightage than CR and SC. Is that true?
He said that in GMATPrep, he got only 1 wrong in RC, 4 in CR and 7 in SC and still got a score 41 !
This may sound silly, but I am worried because RC is my weakest area

One week to go for GMAT
I have been preparing for GMAT for about a couple of months now and have my G-Day on the 17th. My state after finishing OG11
I recently finished OG11 and plan to take GMAT in another 10 days.. I have heard that the questions are based on the pattern but your scores in these tests would not be accurate..

How to get the final score in 800score.com tests?
I have a query regarding the 800score.com tests.
In these tests, the Verbal and Quants tests are separate..Then how do we get to know the final score from the scaled scores?

Princeton Practice Tests
Hi, I took Princeton Review Practice Test 2 yesterday and got only 590 (Q41, V30) I did some analysis and saw that I had made only 1 mistake in Quants and 4 in Verbal in the first 10 questions.
