its pretty simple....all the numbers in white squares are the sum of corressponding numbers in yellow. For eg: 1=x+4, -5=y+4 etc..... So m+n = (z+4) + (y+e) = (z+e) + (y+4) = 10 + -5 = 5..... GMAT always try to trick the test takers stating simpple pblms in complex figures, statements, matrices etc....

x*1% + y*2% + z*3% = 1.5%*(x+y+z)
x+2y+3z =1.5x+1.5y+1.5z
0.5y+1.5z = 0.5x
x=y+3z....Ans is A

Nova prep course guide

has anyone tried nova prep course guide for verbal??? can some please tell me the difficulty level of the exercise Qs in the guide. I find it a bit difficult with hit rates of only 65-70% for CR. Need to look RC and SC....
