Several ways of solving:
1. Lines OP and OQ are perpendicular, so product of their slopes will be -1.
slope of OP*slope of OP=-1
slope of OP = -(1/root3)
=>Slope of OQ = root3 = t/s. So s = 1
2.Can also use the 30-60-90 traingles method to see that s is 1.

I have used 800 score. It is not bad and is decent for practice, but it is a CTB (computer-based test) rather than a CAT. In my opinion, the best CAT out there is the GMATPrep software. Do this software as many times as you can. A lot of questions will be repeated, but you'll certainly see some new ...

Stm1
30% water has been removed from each tank, so new sd now is 0.30(old sd) = 0.30*10 = 3...suff
stm2
Does not tell us anything about the variation...insuff

given: a and b are both divisible by 6
Stm1: a=3b+6
or (a/3)=b+2
because of this "+2" it is insuff to conclude that b is the gcd of (a,b)
Stm2: a=3b
suff because b will be the gcd of (3b,b) i.e., (a,b)
ans:B
