I am not expert and I am currently still studying for the gmat, however from my experience bringing a verbal score from 20 - 30 is a lot easier then say 35-40. So what should you do? (1) Take a couple (or 3) practice CATS, fin...

(1) S is divisible by 16 (2) s is divisble by 4 My technique (learned from mgmat) is to simply find the primes and see if we do find 2^5 (without any overlaps). 32 = 2^5 (1) 16 = 2^4 not suff (2) 4 = 2^2 not suff Together, no new information...

I hear the Kaplan CATS are very different and difficult, and not a good representation of the actual GMAT.
And can I get Veritas CATS (on their own) with out buying any of their books?
Thanks!

Remember this:
"To maximize the area of a triangle given a base, make it a 90 degree isoceles, 90-45-45" -MGMAT book
Therefore with radius 1 (base =1), the height equals 1 and thus the area equalls 1/2.

Hi GmatguryNY Hi again, I wanted to make sure that I have got this technique down. The question is: Is x>y? (1) x^2 > y (2) root(x) < y So I drew the graphs as follows (1) y < x^2 http://s16.postimage.org/dsyt6k73l/image.jpg and we see that the yellow region could be above y=x or below so its insuff...
