Rich: thanks so much! ani: i felt the ir was easier than the mocks (gmat prep, manhattan). my strategy on ir was to expend the minimal amount of energy and score the average. i think i was able to accomplish that with zero prep. faraz: my cats were around 660. i actually didn't receive my final gmat...

Sorry to hear. But, my 2 cents -- get back in that test center the earliest you can. But this time around, don't take a CAT a week out of the test, and concentrate on being as well rested and clear headed as you can be going into D day. Trust in yourself, and I would predict you're cruising your way...

Rich: excellent advice; I think you better identified and described what I'm going through -- how can I stop working hard, after 550 hours, just moments prior to the big test? The short answer is, I can't. I must mentally prepare myself for battle; be laser focused, sleeves rolled, and ready to dig ...

Is this normal?! My test is on Tuesday (9/10)...

After 550+ hours of study (since Jan 2013), countless number of OG questions, several practice CATs, etc. -- I am finally taking the test for the first time on Tuesday, 9/10. And I'm finding myself letting go and not caring anymore!! Is this normal? I think I'm cracking under the pressure. The odd t...

sorry to hear, please hang in there. i am not an expert, but have been studying for the test for the past 7 months, and in my experience with cr and rc, i've noticed that the more rested i am, the stronger the result. just by the way you wrote your original post, i can tell english is your native la...

sorry to hear about your experience. this story is familiar to me, as a close friend of mine went through the exact same experience several years back: he scored 660 without too much prep. then he hired a private tutor, did everything right, and scored a 600 in his second attempt. what he did (not s...

Are you fluent in Japanese? My understanding is that is a requirement (fluency in 2nd language stream) to apply to Wharton lauder prgram. And there is a language interview. For what its worth, I have a friend, also half japanese half American, who graduated from lauder, and in her experience, it was...

hi experts: i'd greatly appreciate your thoughts/advice/direction/etc. on specifically which schools i should apply to in round 2 this year (round 1 is most probably a no go, given gmat woes). preface: i have not taken the gmat yet, so please assume for time being that i have a 650 score. -30 year o...
