Now U are making assumptions that the prints needed time to set I guess to some extent I am inferring that from the passage. They are telling us that prints are in the walls, but when applied underwater they wont retain their shape and wash away. That infers there is a way to make them as long as i...

I am reopening this old thread. OA is B but I think C should be the answer. The problem with C is that it gives us no new information: From the passage: abandoned due to a severe drought known to have occurred in the region In option C: studies of Yucatan Lake sediment cores provide conclusive evid...

The answer choice is clearly more strong than any other but can anyone please help me understand the why option B cannot be the answer as it also strengthens the argument equally according to me. B is more or less irrelevant to the argument. The passage is telling us that there are a growing number...

1. Charcoal hand prints were found in an underwater cave 2. The prints are 10000 years old 3. Scientists cant recreate such prints because they immediately wash away in the water A. Incorrect. This just restates something in the passage that this charcoal is washing away when under water. It does no...

The problem with C is the time frame. Its clearly a trap style answer. The passage tells us that the remains were dated around 100000 years ago. The fire occurred over 103000 years ago. That means there is an excellent chance these remains were never exposed to that fire. On its face it doesnt seem ...

I have a hard time believing this question is from a reputable source. I dont think any of these could be the answer. A adds nothing, B only talks of 1 species, C is too many years in the past, D is not enough years in the past, and E has nothing to do with anything.

How are you currently approaching the CR problems? Do you find yourself going back and forth between the answers and passage often? Do you find yourself getting confused by more than 2 selections on a question? The real key I think to solving the CR problems is to simply learn how to rewrite the pas...

Though I often like reading the question first I think the idea of doing what works best for you is most important. Everyone does things differently and if you are comfortable reading the passage and then the question you should do it that way. My guess is that you simply put too much pressure on yo...

I think thats very good and means you are well on your way to doing well when you take the exam. People sometimes knock the OG for being too easy, but unless you can get almost all of those questions correct you will not be knocking on the door of a 700.

Agree with target , i was also down with two options A and E , chose E . Cannot link to A ... Often when you see CRs with numbers you can solve them by approaching them as a math problem rather than a verbal problem. Lets assume that there are 5 million businesses in India that use computer...
