I got E too. I actually looked up standard deviation again and the basic formula for it. I know you can't tell from #1 or #2 alone. #1 doesn't tell you anything because all the terms in between the highest and lowest numbers could be disproportionately large or small. #2 by itself doesn't mean anyth...

The first thing I did was set up the equation from the information in #1. I got that a ratio that says y/x+14 = 16/9. This is not able to be solved because there are multiple combinations of numbers that would fit this scenario (I didn't make sure this is true, I just felt as though it was implied)....

The first thing I did was write out what the problem is asking. I wrote, "Is 2^x > 100?" Then, I solved for x for the first data piece. If you know how to solve it, you should get x=16. 2^16 is definitely greater than 100, so the answer is either A or D. Looking at the second piece, I rewr...

This is, in my opinion, clearly C. An S corporation is singular so it should be matched with its and not their. Also, how can you mandate an S corporation? You mandate that...at least that's what makes sense to me.

This is very easy if you know how to use consider and how to use whether/if. Consider is not paired with any statement after it (such as to be). Also, choose whether and not if in this case because you are choosing between two options (profits made or not made). If (if I recall) is used when you are...

First off, each is always paired with singular verbs unless the word preceding each is plural. Also, each is the right word to use in the sentence because the sentence is saying how each one is unique (not all).

This isn't too hard, imo. The answer, as stated earlier, is E. You have to eliminate A, C, and D right off the bat. The reason stems from the fact that what 'it' is referring to is sales, which can only be paired with plural pronouns such as them. B is incorrect because there is no link between the ...

A quick look at all the options leads me to believe that A is the correct answer. In B, you can't say he was a highly-decorated World War I military leader because it simply doesn't make sense. I don't know exactly how to explain why the others are wrong, but I think they are.

I love it when people post the wrong f**king equation and expect us to come up with the correct answer. Good work.

Took me maybe a little over 2 minutes I think...gotta start timing myself. Anyway, if x is a positive integer in the equation, just use 1. Now, you can simplify this to 7^15 + 3. You have to find the units digit of 7^15. If you do 7^1 through 7^5 written down, you can see a pattern emerge. This patt...

I honestly didn't know that what's in the quotes is singular, but you can obviously tell this from the word sounds because it is not underlined. Going with this logic, only C makes sense.
