Just got my official letter from BC. I have been offered $10,000 in scholarship funds. I felt really bad saying no to this school, because I actually really really wanted to be admitted. Unfortunately, I can only attend one school. The depth of the program at UNC, the resources available to me, and ...

Today, after work, I sat back and reflected on the year that is now behind me. It has really been a year of applications. I began my journey in January, when I began studying for the GMAT. Studying for the GMAT was like having a second job. I came home from work - around 6 PM - and sat down to study...

Well, it is official: I have hit 3 out of 3. Just found out that I have been accepted to Boston College.
This makes me feel very good. While I am going to attend Kenan-Flagler, I feel very accomplished having been accepted to all three programs.

However, as I already said, it does not matter much, at this point. I plan to move to Chapel Hill on May 9th or s...

Niiice! Have you read anything by Augusten Burroughs? I'm going to move on to him once I'm through all of Sedaris' books.

2 out of 3, so far
Just found out that I got into Bentley (McCallum). They also offered me $10,000 in scholarship funds. Very generous of them.
McCallum was my 3rd choice.
Though I have already sent my acceptance of admission to UNC, I am curious to see what Boston College thought of me.

I am not sure what you would consider to be a high GPA, but 3.7 would be considered above average. Mine is 3.79, and I am pretty proud of it. As for your GMAT, I think that it is in the right vicinity. However, as many others have reiterated here, it all depends on the overall package that you put t...
