Take a look at the schools you intent to apply to. All of the schools that I am applying for look at either 1) last 60 or so hours, or 2) Junior & Senior level courses, only. For example: I have a 2.96 GPA but, according to my recalculated GPA, I have a 3.45 in one program, and a 3.5 as evaluate...

Scaled Score vs Percentile (The Make-Up of the GMAT Score)
I find it quite odd that many on this board consider, for example, 40Q 42V a closely balanced score. I have even noticed experienced posters infer that colleges would consider this score balanced as well. This does not quite make sense to me as I just took an MGMAT practice exam, and the scores were...

Are you keeping an error log? You can work problems all day long, but if you don't understand why and how you are making errors, it is far more difficult to correct them. This has helped me the most from a concept standpoint.
I scored a measly 520, and I'm currently on the road to retake the exam.

Selected for an Interview: What does it REALLY mean?
So I was selected for an interview for admission to the C.T. Bauer at the University of Houston. My question is: What does it mean to be selected for an interview when the school does not select everyone for an interview? 1) Does this mean that I am border line and I need to further display skills o...
