Hi,

The below is my understanding.

Option A implies that improved efficiency is the cause for boost in consumption.

Option B implies that increasing supply and lowering prices are the causes for boost in consumption.

I would also go with option A, as the statement has no flaw in it.

Hi Anu, I am assuming that the cost 1800 is a constant. ie, the cost of n books at x price is 1800. Also, the cost of n+30 books at x-10 price is 1800. from the above statements we can get two equations, 1. xn = 1800 2. (x-10)(n+30) = 1800 from this we can arrive to the original price x as 30. If the same problem had 2 identical green shirts, 2 identical red shirts, and 2 identical blue shirts, then the number of ways of distributing the shirts to six kids would be?
