I am opening this question again because I have a query. Aren't diagonals of the square bisectors? If so each angle will be 45 and the ans should be 90? Please explain... B to E is diagonal on a face so is BG and EG Therefore, the 3 lengths are equal and they form an equilateral triangle, therefore...

Data given: K > 1 K is an integer K = 2 ? I) a - b = odd THEREFORE, 1 of the factors is odd and one is even you know that there are 2 factors and one factor is even; therefore the number must be divisible by 2 the only even prime number is 2 suff II) K = 3 x 1 K = 5 x 1 K = 7 x 1 insuff answer: a So...

Data given: formula can be rewritten as: (x+y)(x-y) i) 1 of the ( ) is odd odd x odd = odd odd x even = even therefore, unless you know what the other factor is, you cannot know if it is even or not ii) same thing, other factor combined: both factors: odd/odd therefore it is NOT divisible therefore ...

Data given: formula can be simplified to x - y > y - x We know X is positive given this info, the answer depends on whether y is negative or positive (negative Y will increase the greater side and decrease the other side) A) tells us Y is positive , suf B) no info regarding Y, insuf pick A If x is g...

I think the quickest way is to do this: breakdown 36 into number components: 3 x 2 x 2 x 3 I) m can be 9 (n = 4, from 2x2)or 18 (n=2) - more than 2 choices therefore insufficient II) n can be 2 or [2 x any of the other numbers] - more than 2 choices therefore insufficient combined: m can be 9, n can...

The only one with no solution is (-2)n = -2n You cannot find the value of n because 1 term = 1 term For the other equations, the n's can be grouped on one side and the #s on the other, allowing for someone to solve for n Each of the following equations has at least one solution EXCEPT –2n = (–2)...

I) as you said, (x-y)^2 > 0, if they are not equal it will be greater than 0
II) (3 - 2) ^2 = 1 > 0 OK
(1 - 1)^2 = 0 , which is not > 0, therefore not ok
choice 2 is insufficient

OA is E ewhhh so complicating! i will solve it like the following solution (Q-P)/R+Q>-P/R (Q-P)/(R+Q)+P/R>O Or Q(R+P)/R(R+Q)>0??? WE KNOW r AND P WITHOUT KNOWING Q i chose E I did it this way: (q - p) / (r + q) > -p / r cross multiply rq - rp > -rp - qp rq > - qp r > - p i) r is negative, but p cou...

I and II are the same statement (cross multiplication as you mentioned) so the answer can only be D or E; the OA is incorrect. Yes this is not a good question. Frank always use authentic materials.
