Thank you. I have been thinking along the same lines, to wake up early, do an hour before going to work and an hour after work at my work place, before I head out home. Hopefully the 2 hr daily (incl. weekend) would get me on the right track. I was also wondering -- if I start my Quant first, by the...

Any local help for GMAT? Looking to get into Booth Part time
I am looking to get into Booth, part time. Anyone in the suburbs (I work by Schaumburg) who is looking for study group, or who has already beat the GMAT and can help me with the how-to of GMAT prep? At this time, I am putting up various forum topics, as it strikes me, hoping to narrow down something...

I would start off with MGMAT 8 strategy guides and the 6 tests. Take a test each week or once in 10 days. MGMAT tests are good for quant. They are good for verbal if you want to know your weak areas in CR and SC. RC style is not close to GMAT, it differs from person to person. For me, I hardly made...

Thank you for the help. This is what I was looking for -- a "schedule" that would help me plan out my study. Like I said, I can do like 2 hours every day - so ~168 hours in 3 months? I am just looking for a game plan of sorts that would help me kick the GMAT. Your post has made me a bit mo...

Need 700+, need help with how to study
I have MGMAT set of all the books. I first took a practice GMAT test, got 520. I haven't been in school for over a decade. Then I started studying but due to work, on and off study time, couldn't really finish more than 3 MGMAT Quant books and no Verbal book. I couldn't study for 3 weeks before the ...

Yeah I have seen the 3 month plan that BTG has, however, I was hoping for one from someone who actually beat the GMAT. I was also thinking out loud, if I start Quant first, wouldn't I "lose it" a bit by the time I am in month 3, doing Verbal?

GMAT in 2 days - lost steam due to work
So I know one can hardly help me in the conventional sense - I have my exam on May 24th, and I was going great till the last 10 days. My new work project came up, and I ended up working like 14 hours a day. My ultimate goal is to cross 700 but let's be honest, that's not going to happen - this time ...

May I ask how many hours you studied? I work full time and increasingly finding it hard to study for the ~2 hours on weekdays and then 10 hours over weekend (between the two days). Is it just me? If you with your 60 plus hour work load can do it, I think I should look for other excuses!!!

Thanks Clock60. I didn't realize someone had already posted the problem. The answers were confusing as well, but luckily the last answer had the solution attached and that helped. It makes sense now. i guess if I keep practicing then I will get it without any doubt.
Thanks again

Odannyboi, Sarcastic remarks aside (LOL), yeah I opened a forum and then another one was more for "can anyone help in HOW to squeeze in time after work" and that was because I didn't get any reply on the first one. I was hoping someone who has done this would tell me something. But yes, I ...

1) Should you take prep classes? The answer to that really is if you are are self motivated to study on your own. If you are, if you can devote the time to prepare yourself, I would think that ideally that's what you should do. Also, money is a big factor. If you have the money to spend on prep clas...
