PLEASE HELP!!! Desperately seeking advice on crossing 700++
I am striving and aiming for the stars - to cross the 700 mark. I work full time, have two kids; so it's a bit hard for me to devote 3 hrs every day, no matter how hard I try. I get to study on and off, and I gave my first GMAT Prep with VERY small preparation (to form a base line). I got a 520, 28V...

Hello,
New member, and although kinda late in this, wondering how your GMAT went if you already gave it. If not, are you interested in a study group near Schaumburg?
Let me know.

First, Congratulations on obviously very well deserved score. I am sorry if this sounds stupid but I have spent over a week just trying to figure out which books to get!!! From your debriefing, it seems that you didn't touch any Kaplan book, Princeton, etc. I understand that this is in no way a nega...

Simple MATH question but having brain fart!
Simple question: * If x is an integer divisible by 15 but not divisible by 20, then x CANNOT be divisible by which of the following? -------------6 -------------10 -------------12 -------------30 -------------150 The way I approached it is -- To be divisible by 15, but not by 20 would mean it needs ...

Anand gave a great reply. I need to pick up on that. I did it this way:
3x^2 + 2x -1 == 3(x^2 + 2x) -4x -1 ==> -4x -1 is left ==> Insuff.
x = -2 ==> You get the value == Sufficient.

Books? TOTALLY confused! HELPPP!!!
I think I am saying what many of us newbies are thinking: Which books should we be getting? I did read the book reviews by Dana J, but I am hoping to get a few inputs from all you achievers whom I am (if not all the other members) looking up to for some guidance. I am trying to get a short list of b...
