Hi everyone!
I applied to MIT Sloan in round 2.
Does anyone know when invitations for interviews will go out?
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Thomasl, Sorry, I just saw your question. I guess you took the test already and scored high :) What was your score? To answer your question, I had the impression that the grading on the speaking section was rather generous. I did not finish my answers to multiple questions, but still received a d...

Tani, First of all, thank you very much for your rapid feedback. This is not the first time you've given me valuable advice, and I appreciate your help. Just to clarify, I did not submit the first application. I started it, but nothing has been validated. I did not submit it, and did not pay the app...

Hi, Similar story. I forwarded my manager a recommendation from someone else. For some unknown reason, he took a paragraph from it (about team player skills) and barely edited it. The issue is that both person are recommending me for the same school. It looks extremely odd, as wording are identical....

Older applicants
Hi, With 8 years of experience (9 years when I start the program), am I too "old" (32) to apply to Full Time US pgms? I'm thinking about HBS, Stanford, MIT... Anyone knows students/alumni who attended such schools at a similar age (33+ at start of the program)? Thanks for your replies. Vin...

Kellogg - Quick question about Part 1
Hi, I'm going through part 1 of Kellogg's application. I hold the French equivalent of a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering. In the section "degree granted", there is a list of acronyms, but I could not find the one for Master's Degree. There is a "MD" but I was wondering ...

Don't go unprepared!
Hi, Just received my score report: 114/120. (Reading-29; Listening-29; Speaking-27; Writing-29) Very happy, as I thought I'd score below 110 (reading and listening are pretty much in line with what I expected, but speaking is a very good surprise). One first note: I took the test in Paris, France (@...

Resume Format
Hi everyone! I'm currently working on my resume and was wondering whether I could use the same format for all applications. Or do B-schools have preferred format? I could not find specific information about this. I'm applying to programs both in the US and in Europe; should I adopt different approac...

Dear Lisa, Thanks a lot for your reply. I need to finalize my school shortlist and will most likely apply in the second rounds. Once I'm done reading Montauk, I'll decide whether to hire a consultant or not. This would certainly be a great way of maximizing chances. In any case, I'll make sure to su...

Importance of current Industry/Sector
Hi, I am currently working for one of the leading online retailers. I looked at class profiles from several major programs and it seems that retail is under represented as an origin sector among MBA students. Is this correct? If so, would you consider it an advantage to work for a less "traditi...

Just received my AWA score: 6.0.
I want to warmly thank myohmy for posting his templates on the forum.
Also I remember reading a post from richwang who provided a very simple, but useful, template.
Thanks a lot to the BTG community!
