Hi, I recently gave Gmat-Prep1 I scored 50 on Q-provided i did 29/37 questions correct. On Verbal I scored 19-but i did 24/41 questions correct. The weak link if it matters was that i did last 5 q wrong. I ended up getting a mere score of 580. Is it possible? Normally having this much questions rig...

Gosh, Ziggy, I feel your pain. I was in almost identical situation about a month and a half ago. My problem though, was that I felt that not matter how bad I did, I could get my target score of 550 because I had gotten 600 and 570 on my GMATPrep, and 540 on a Kaplan CAT without even studying at all....

Thanks so much for your reply, it is highly appreciated. I had almost given up that people replied to topics other than the ones where someone had passed the GMAT with a high score. I will definitely follow your advice and keep everyone posted. Thanks again!

I don't think you can call any one score bad, it's all relative. It just tells you that you're a long way from where you want to be so you have a lot of ground to cover. I don't think you should listen to people saying there's a "max" that you could improve your score by. It varies by indi...

Ashim, I have to admit that I always skipped the AWA when taking my CATs due to my time constraints and I did feel uncomfortable while writing the essays at the test center.
