Thanks ya'all for the feedback. I plan to give another CAT this weekend (debating between PR or MGMAT). I was originally thinking MGMAT but I'm not at the 600 level yet and secondly I was intimidated when I made my first attempt a couple months ago when I started my preparation. I have been keeping ...

Kaplan Q bank versus MGMAT question banks
Anyone have experience with using either Kaplan Q bank (1000+ Q's) or MGMAT question bank (200 Q's)? Which one is preferred? I'm under the impression that you need to be in 600+ neighborhood for MGMAT for it to be of value?

Where do I go from here???
I the GMAT Prep test to see where I stand one month before. I was shocked to see 510 (36 Quant, 25 Verbal). For Quant 19 incorrect and for Verbal 17 incorrect. I screwed up my beginning in Verbal by getting the 5 in a row incorrect in the first 7 questions (6/7 wrong). I know I've read the posts tha...

MGMAT Inequalities, Equations, VIC Book MISSING PG???
I bought the MGMAT 2007 edition and noticed on page 123 the OG question reference to VIC's is missing? Is this correct? Or indeed there are no Data Sufficiency Problems for VIC's in OG nor Quantitative Review? Or is there a page 124 that was never printed?

Pacing Strategy
I'm working on my pacing. I initially consciously ignored the 2 min/Q rule so that I could focus on content and eliminately careless mistakes. I know many have debated this but in my case I've been out of school for 8 years. My timing has varied 2-4 min/Q. In order to help myself in hitting the 2 mi...

Here's my recommendation. First is to identify where your prep is lacking. I've been studying for the past 4 months and have been following everyone's posts. I plan to give in February. Here's a couple of points to touch on. 1) Pacing. You understand the content and tests thus far indicate decent sc...

SC Interesting Stats
I just completed OG 11 using MGMAT SC prep (no doubt king of SC prep). As I analyzed the questions I got wrong, hit rate and number of questions the following became apparent. Total number of actual questions = 138 The stats below show the number of questions testing the specific Q type (bracket sho...

I found myself to be in the same position. Although I haven't given the actual test but after a couple of diagnostic tests I found myself weak in RC and SC (ironically I'm from Canada too). I strongly recommend the MGMAT guides (for SC and RC). Although you need to be at a certain level before, the ...

MGMAT CAT
I agree with your comments. I gave the quant CAT yesterday and felt as if I got smoked. The questions were undoubtedly ruthless. Luckily I gave the test in untimed mode. I'm afraid what the verbal test is going to be like. Since I just starting studying I believe I should have given the diagnostic t...

New 2007 Edition for CR and RC
Abhijit, The 2007 edition for CR and RC have significant improvements. I also originally bought the 2005 edition but since my weakness is RC and SC I decided to go ahead and buy the new editions. Since I've had the new additions no regrets. The CR only is 251 pages compared to 71 pgs. The 2007 editi...

Diagnostic Test PR, Kaplan, MGMAT or
I'm about to give a diagnostic test and am having difficulty deciding which to give for starts. PR - Gives Overall, Math and Verbal Scores. Gives detailed analysis including correct, incorrect, time taken and problem type. Heard questions are easier than Kaplan and MGMAT. Kaplan - Same as PR but hea...
