Should I incorporate my personal blog into my application?
For most schools, I would probably assume no, but since I'm applying to Stern as a music industry professional who intends to take advantage of the school's Media & Entertainment and Entrepreneurial programs I am reconsidering. I'd love a second opinion. Feel free to check it out: http://takecar...

reporting commission-only salary while working at a start-up
I currently work as one of 7 members of a start-up but until VC comes in (anywhere from 5-8 mos away) each of us is paid on commission only.
Is there a special way to report this in the work experience section asking for starting and ending compensation?

Thanks Kaneisha. I actually retook the GMAT and thankfully got a 720 the second time around. I hope this will make admissions a bit less challenging.

can a well targeted resume give an edge to a mediocre GMAT?
My question is whether a strong resume tightly targeted at the entertainment industry offerings of several MBA programs could help soften the blow of a sub-par GMAT score. There are only a small number of schools with such specialized programs, namely NYU Stern, UCLA Anderson, and USC Marshall, and ...

I found this problem on one of the old paper test, so there is no explanation. I incorrectly answered D and have a feeling my error partly involved tense, although I'm not sure the the exact rules as they apply here. Any insight would be much appreciated. Art historians are using a process known as ...

By the time backsolving occurred to me, I was already too deep into the math and resorted to poor guesswork. Machine A and machine B are each used to ma...

"Variance Test" for CR - Definition?
I remember reading somewhere that applying the Variance Test is often a good way to address certain types of CR problems, but I have no idea what this means. Can anyone provide a definition for "Variance Test," and perhaps an example of it's application?
Thanks!
