At last some honest perspective. When you and your recommender say that you are smart, Adcoms may/maynot believe you. When GMAT/GPA/Solid-Work Ex say that you are smart it's hard not to believe you. Jim, What will be your strategy for someone who wants to increase verbal from 35-44 ? Practicing ques...

I guess the fact that he applied in Round 3, to the world's most selective coupled with low GPA derailed him. Two most important factors: ultra competitive schools and applying in R3. As the applicant has already mentioned, he was busy and his essay could not have been properly executed. But admist ...

You need to work your way to a high GMAT score. Consider it is constructing a building. First you lay the foundations, then walls, then the roof etc. You cannot jump the process.Would suggest you to get your hands dirty on 5 MGMAT Math Books and practice end to end. Then solve OG Quant. Repeat for e...

Hi AbhiJ, What could be useless for you may be relevant to others in forming their own informed opinions. Only an immature candidate will ask questions like "How Indians are doing to switch industries out of IT?" My posts are not just for Indians or Asians, anyone and everyone can benefit...

I agree with whatever has been said. MBAGuy as you have said that schools with less than 50 students donot rank in Top 50. This alone should tell you about their credibility leaving apart all the marketing jargons. Agree that some people naively fall into the trap of B School thinking that the schoo...

The title is correct but the content is misleading. You should mention at the outset: - Small Class Size means 50 or less students. - Your comments are more applicable for 2nd tier UK schools, 80+ ranked US schools. Some counter examples. IMD, Queens both have less than 80 students. Would say small ...

Hi, Mediocre business schools do not add much value these days. If MBA is an important part of your future career plan, try to get into a good MBA program, not just any MBA program. Anyway most mediocre MBA programs worldwide are full of mediocre students from India & China (no offense intended...

Dude you want to make money, then grow up, pull yourself up and kill the GMAT beast once for and all. I would even suggest you to target not 520 but target 650 so that you can get into a Top 50 US B School and make good money. With 520 you will land into not so good B School which you may regret lat...
