It can be very difficult to diagnose yourself when you do not have the expertise to identify weaknesses.
I strongly recommend investing the money to hire a quality private tutor, who will find the weaknesses in your studying habits and offer tailored plan to tackle those weaknesses.

If you have enough time to include multiple CATs for practice, then yes, I strongly recommend going this route and save GMATPrep for latter part of the preparation.

The incorrect usage of "should" is sufficient to eliminate all but C and D.

My concern with the approach is the times when reading answers aloud will consistently lead to wrong answers because of our various bad speaking habits. Naturally the approach suggested will work in many of the easier SC questions, but as you advance into latter part of OG or more difficult question...
