Let me rephrase my question..
Why is that we are ignoring "should" and including "will", when the later half of the sentence has "can be expected to sustain damage" instead of "will sustain damage"

I think my 2nd approach is incorrect because I considered picking up 2 blue balls and then 1 black ball...
The 2nd approach should have been what clock60 has suggested.. but even that doesn't match 10/63!

Any ideas why there are 2 different answers via the 2 approaches?

I'm sure the answer would not require me to calculate the 3rd and 4th root of 4... but how do I estimate? The value could be less or more than 3 by a small fraction!
