By multiplying two consecutive numbers (i.e., the number that was picked and the next larger number which would be the very next number after the one that was picked). M= 4^1/2 +4^1/3 + 4^1/4
convert all to power of 2
M = 2 + 2^(2/3) + 2^(1/2)
2^(1/2) ~= 1.4
2^(1/2) < 2^(2/3) < 2. I just took => 2^(2/3) = 1.5
so, M = 2 + 1.5 + 1.4 = 2 + 2.9 = 4.9

I would also go with (B).
I don't know about (A) since when you read the entire statement (A) ending in "to serve metropolitan Boston" ... sounds incomplete.
Answer please?

Need Veritas 15 Computer Adaptive practice tests
I would like to buy Veritas 15 computer adaptive practice tests if anyone has it.
I've gone to Veritas website but it looks like I have to buy the bundle packet to get the CATs. I'm only interested in buying the 15 CATs and nothing else.
Anyone???
