well final output has become 132%. So if 132 has to reduce to 100, it has to go down to hundred it has to reduce by 32/132*100, ie approx 24.2%

Let car revenue in 1998 be x and truck revenue be y
So car revenue in 1999 is 89x/100 and truck revenue is 107y/100
Also is 89x/100 + 107y/100 = 101(x+y)/100
Therefore 89x + 107y = 101x + 101y
ie 6y = 12x
So x/y = 1:2

The cyclicity of 3's exponents is 4. ie, the units digits are always in the pattern of 3, 9, 7, 1, 3, 9 and so on and so forth. So multiplying the exponent by 8 and adding 3 to it will always result in the same units digit number. Eg. if n is 1, then 3^11 will result in 7 as the units digit. Likewis...

IMO the answer is A.
If line L doesnt intersect with (y = 1-x), it will be parallel to that line. So the slope of that line will be -1.
Statement 2 doesnt give any relevant information. So INSUFF

Statement 1. the tens digit of k+9 is 3 Since the units digit is not 0, even if the units digit is the lowest i.e. 1, adding 9 to the number will affect the tens digit. Hence the tens digit of k is 2. SUFF 2) the tens digit of k+4 is 2 If the units digit of k is 6 or greater, the tens digit of k+4 w...

Statement 1 - w/x = z^-1 + x^-1 Solving it, we get that wz = x + z Since all 4 are integers, we can deduce that z = 1 and w is greater than x by 1. Since x is 1, y will have to be 2 or more. So y cannot be a factor of w and x which are consecutive numbers. SUFF 2. w^2-wy-2w=0 Solving this, we get, w...

I'd put my money on D. The question is - what strengthens Hotel T's plan to increase profitability by eliminating in room mini-bars in favor of empty refrigerators? A, B and C are irrelevant. i did consider E for a moment but it says that empty refridgerators are cheaper to maintain. That may be the...

Hi Samir, The answer indeed is E. My doubt is between A and E because A states that in 1994, Videorama rented out more videos that it sold. This clearly contributes to a number that is more than 8000 Since Brad seems to think that Videorama is not the explanation, A seems to break that view. My prob...
