Hi Hezell, Though I had not attended a prep course, but I definitely did use Manhattan books and their solutions esp for SC on this site. I can tell you that Manhattan folks are really good. I would suggest that you do basic learning by yourself and when you feel little more confident you go for Man...

Hey Dipzz, Congratulations on your score....I know it must be really difficult for you to handle 690.....so close yet missed it... On your retake here are my thoughts : 1. If you are planning to apply anytime soon.. say in next 2 months then dont even try.Its possible that your score might drop. I a...

Hi Naina, Just remember that it happens with most of us. Has happened with me as well. I have taken GMAT thrice (you can read my post on it). I seriously recommend you to give it another shot. But this time you have to do things differently : 1. Take a 15 days break. Do not do anything related to GMA...

Hi, If your scores are declining then try taking a 1 day break. I know its difficult to imagine with just 10 days away from the real test, but its worth trying. I feel you are getting over worked and stressed. In that break dont study, but "THINK" about the areas you can maximise most. Sol...

Hi Saunak, IR was similar to the GMAT Prep mock. So no surprise element here. MSR is the only one which I couldn't solve confidently. But as you can see I only scored 5 which means that I got many wrong. In four of my GMAT prep mocks I got 5 twice and 7 twice. So if you are scoring 5 or above in your...

Hi Vom, I encountered 3-4 fully underlined SC questions. In my first two attempts I could not make a head or tail of the SC question, but surprisingly this time not many SC questions baffled me. The probable reason - In my last 20 days of prep I solved ONLY official questions. So if you are in your ...

Ritu, Spend time in finding your weak areas. Spend next 10 days in addressing only that part. Try brushing up the basics first and then sove official questions. Spend next 10 days in working on other areas and keep solving 20 questions daily from your weak area. In last 10 days take 2 official mocks...

Hi Devika, First of all : Take a deep breath and relax :) 1. Start with a mock test to know your weak areas. 2. If you already know your weak areas, then you already have a headstart. 3. If you are weak in verbal, then solve SC and CR continuously for 3 days till you feel confident. 4. Then do the q...
