If x and j are integers and (12^x)*(4^2x+1)=(2^j)*(3^2), what is the value of j?
A) 5
B) 7
C) 10
D) 12

So 4^2x+1 = (2^2)^2x+1 = 2^4x+2. Can set 4x+2 = j. I'm not sure what do do with 12^x. Any suggestions?
