algebraic approach?
If a chef creates x pastries per hour, then how many minutes will it take to make 50 pastries? a. x/50 b. 50/x c. 60x/50 d. 50x/60 e. 50*60/x This seems so simple to me but yet I still got it wrong. Can someone please show the algebraic approach? Thanks. This question is from the Peterson's Prep Test

7C5 = 7!/(5!*2!) = 21
therefore...
21*4! = 504

Are you saying (7C5)*4!, if so what does 7C5 equal? I'm not familar with this terminology. Thanks for the relpy!hence total ways are (7C5)4! ways

Circular Permutation
When N and K are equal we use the formal (N-1)!, however what do you do when N and K do not equal?
e.g.
How many ways can 7 people sit at a circular table with only 5 seats?

CR - The proportion of minorities....
Can someone help me understand (algebraically) why D is the answer here? I know the approach is to treat this as a "weaken" question but I'm having a hard time understanding what exactly is being said in the stimulus.
