Answer shud be C. We can rule out both A and B But if you consider C Take II first:R has one side double than that of S.If dimensions of S are L=4,W=1.Area of S =4 Now for R.Dimensions can be L=8,W=x(say) or L=x(say),W=2.Area for R can be 8x or 2x Take I: Area is same for both rectangles So case 1: ...

(1) k is prime (2) k=7 IMO D 2: 20k = 140 = 2^2 * 5^1 * 7 ^ 1 Total positive divisors = (2+1)(1+1)(1+1) = 12 (Not required step but Sufficient) 1: k is prime that means k has no other divisors but 1 and k. 2...

Length can vary. But we need height.Height is the perpendicular drawn from the vertex to the base.So if your vertex is anywhere on the line(y=3 or y=1),perpendicular distance(distance between vertex and base) will remain constant(=1 in this case).

I do not think we need x coordinate. Area =b*h/2 Base = Distance between (-2,2) & (3,2) Height=1(in both cases as described clearly by neerajkumar1_1 in the diagram) So you can find the area and as we know that area of the triangles with same base and formed within 2 parallel lines is same. So d...
