Please tell me how did you come to the conclusion that if line K passes through (1, 1) & (1, -1) then it will always pass through (1,0)..

I am stumped when it comes to coordinate geometry..

Let the total number of hardback copies sold after paperback copied were introduced be x
Then the total nos of paperback copies sold = 9x

Then 36000+x+9x=441000
x=40500

Therefore total number of paperback copies = 9*40500=364500
