Hi Rich,

one more question - I have already exhausted the offical GMATprep tests ( free and paid) and am wary of using unofficial sources.

So how do you suggest I take fresh practice tests? Or in way, which sources are more closer to actual GMAT based on your experience.

Hey Jason,

I see that your verbal score jumped from 33 to 41. Did you use Magoosh for verbal practice as well?

I am using Magoosh and thought their Quant was stronger than verbal.

You can get stuff from books; however, I will say that books tend to be a supplement to good instruction. Nothing like having someone help you with your specific issues. Well my experience with the strategies I learnt last time wasnt great...may be I am on the wrong footing... but they did not work for me...

I observed (very late though) that I have been scoring poor on verbal... Any advise on how I should be preparing?

Well, I have followed the following:

OG 12th Edition
MGMAT SC
Powerscore CR

Im the last attempt, I only focussed on OG 12 along with self paced online coaching from Master GMAT.. and alas I boomed big time.... 650 to 620 :(

Lets presume that I am disciplined and can spend that focused effort, but will coaching give me any tips and tricks that I otherwise wont find in any of the books?
