I think it's C here. A cannot be the answer because there's no connection between modern artists and El Greco's painting style. This is simply an influence of the painter. B - while this may be true, it does not help explain the difference between El Greco's paintings and the paintings of other Eur...

The incomes of A and B are in the ratio 4:5 and their expenditures are in the ratio of 5:6. If A saves 1/4th of his income find the ratio of their savings. imo their savings are equal so ratio is 1:1 lete income of A=4x and B=5x let exp of A=5y and B=6y saving of A=5y-4x and B=6y-5x saving of A=1/4...

is this soln correct?
sqrt (X) =y
squaring both side
X= Y^2 --1
1st stement is X=y^X --2
comparing 1 and 2 we can say X=2
sqrt(X) =Y
so cubing both the side
sqrt(2). sqrt(2). sqrt(2) =Y^3
so staement 1 is sufficient.
X^3=8
so x=2
so e know Y^3 as well.

IMO D
18th can be red or green
19th can be red or yellow
so if we say 19th is red then 18th must be yellow but this is not true. This mean 19th is yellow and 18th is green.
We can tell now what will be 24th.

Agree with Ans D
J^J =1
For second statement concider 1 values for J=1 and J=-1
When J=1
1^1 =1
when J=-1
it will be (-1)^ -1 = 1/(-1) =-1 this is not true.
so we can conclude the 2nd statement itself is sufficient.

1) x^4 - x^3 > 0 i.e. x^3 (x-1) >0 The above will be true if bot x^3 >0 and x-1>0 or x^3 < 0 and x-1 <0 Two answers ....Insuff 2) x^5 - x^3 > 0 x^3 (x-1) (x+1) >0 using same concept above, Again multiple answers and hence insuff. Combining, we cannot get unique answer Hence E Can we really work lik...
