GMAT Prep Number Properties/Sets

If the average of x,7,2,16 and 11 is equal to the median, What is X?

1)7<x<11
2)x is the median

Answer in a little bit.

I dont know if the problem specifies that x be an integer, but I think it does.

They are 10 minutes but be careful depending on where you are if the facility is crowded it could take them a couple of minutes to check you back in. When I took it last week I lost a minute in my Verbal section because of that.

I think fsar is correct the AWA seems to be an additional writing sample that shows your ability to write under pressure in your own words, but I dont think it is a primary resource for admission. Grammatically they are both correct. This is one of those subtleties of language. MGMAT SC has a page or two on it. They mean different things, so if this were being tested on the exam it would depend on what they were trying to say in the sentence.

As Jay said depends on what you are emphasizing.
