Let x=4 and y=3

7x-2y = 28-6=22>0
and
-y<x (-3<4)


Let x=4 and y=-3
7x-2y = 28+6 = 34>0
and
-y<x (3<4)

So y can be either positive or negative. Right?

Okay...This is where I get confused...
