Any better answers please. I do not know how to point moderators or Instructors to address this problem so if somebody would be kind enough to point it to them or give a better explanation.

Other way

1/Total time = 1/A + 1/B + 1/C + ... + 1/N

1/time for 2A + 2B + 2C = 5/6 + 2/3 + 1/2 = 2 hrs

Hence time for 2A + 2B + 2C = 1/2 hrs

Hence time for A + B + C = 1 hr.

Need pratice tests for Quant and Verbal

Does anybody have a list of different tests available ? Want to take a test each day for next 1 month however have only a few: Kaplan, GMAT Prep, and Manhattan. Kind of tests that I can take but not regret wasting and learn from them. Need to get practiced with thinking under timed conditions. And t...

Hey papgust, Actually I did go through the Kaplan Live Quant Basics before taking the test so did not really imagine I would run into the problem with the basics itself. I guess I need to practice more Quant. I was more worried about my Verbal but guess now first need to get on track with Quant. How...

I went for a simpler one

I = P*r* t

Therfore
1) 600 = d*k*2

and for assuming x times of d
2) 2400 = (xd)*k*3

Divide one with other
4 = x3/2

x=8/3

and hence 8/3d

Hey Thanks Dana and Cramya. I have run into a bigger problem. I tried my first GMATPrep test yesterday and got badly beaten by it. I was aiming to take the Quant and Verbal part of the GMATPrep test. However I guess I was initially very slow in the beginning in the Quant section and sometimes even v...

You are all correct. The original answer is E I guess I am confused. Here is my confusion: Although is a Subordinator. I agree that E confirms to Although X, Y . But in this form doesn't both X and Y have to be main clauses. In E Y is a main clause but X is missing the subject so it is not a main cl...

Need help guys.

Hi Experts, Need some help to plan my schedule. I am planning to give my GMAT on Jan 11th 2010. Don't have the flexibility to take the test after this date so it's a make/break situation for me right now. I need to get at least 720 (though kind of really want to get to 740/760). My work load at offi...

Both B and C seem incorrect to me because they are not structurally parallel. BTW C also does not sound correct as highlighted below As interest rates are rising, so have consumer and producer prices [are rising]. I would go with E . What is wrong with E? I know we are comparing 'Consumer and produc...

Should i not reserve this test for later or are there better tests to take when you are more prepared. I am currently just starting my prep and want to be sure I do have some good tests to take when I am nearing the end of my prep.

Which practice test is the best to start with

Hi,
Any advice as to which practice test is the best to start with as I am planning to give one this weekend. I want to gauge where I lie currently.

Thanks for your inputs in advance.
