Prime Number Tips
A prime number is a positive integer that can be divided evenly by only two numbers: 1 and itself. Thus, prime numbers only have two distinct natural factors. I might say that Manhattan GMAT questions are a tiny bit tougher than actual GMAT questions, but if so, not by much. This could depend on a variety of factors (ie. your comfort levels with certain topics, etc), so it sort of depends on your situation. I might add that my overall Manhattan GMAT score...

hi GMAC2010, while I totally love your dedication and commitment to get such a great score on the gmat, you might find devoting your time to other causes more of an advantage. it is true that only a handful of people manage to get an 800, and in all honesty, it is not likely to help you for all of t...

hi, i see the way you did it, but i also see where you might have gone wrong.... if the book has (x-2)/5y + z, then it could also be written as (x-2)/(5)*y + z, which is very different than the way you interpret it as (x-2)/(5y) + z. I'm supposing that the book had the parentheses there for a reason...

hey, so let's look at statement 1) first: 1) n(n+2) = 15 we can set it up so that n^2+2n-15=0 and see that (n+5)(n-3) = 0, so n is equal to -5 or 3. not suff in 2) we can quickly see by plugging numbers that n must be 3 so that (3+2)^3 = 125. Because we get only one possible value of n, this stateme...
