In option A, "of" is used in 'by the age of seventy-five', but not in 'by age twenty-four'. If "of" implied in 'by age twenty-four'?
Similar issue is present in other options as well.

Can you please explain why B is awkward?
I had chosen B over C, because "the maestro had finished the concert" in B is in active voice, and "the convert had been finished" in C is in passive.

Shouldn't "the one vector of African culture that could not be eradicated" be placed next to music, as this is modifying a 'noun', i.e. music.
Please correct me if I m getting it wrong
