Master GMAT Practice Test
Hi folks,
I took the Master GMAT Practice Test yesterday and got a dismal score.
I want to think positive and therefore I was wondering whether this test is credible (good representation of the real GMAT test)?
I would like to hear your opinion.
Thank you.

The initial materials you plan to use for the preparation are just fine- start with them. Based on the scores from your first mock test, decide which patterns/problems you should focus your additional work on.
Do not make the same mistake as I did (my shelves are packed with GMAT prep books).

One quick hint: whenever you see 10 raised on certain exponent, see the other numbers involved in the equation and try to realize whether you will need to break up the 10 into 2s and 5s (2*5). In this case, on the left side you have 5 and 4 and on the right- 10. This tells you that you should rewrit...

I got stuck between D and E. I found the following explanation about why E might be better than D: "Gerunds are often used when actions are real, concrete or completed" "Infinitives are often used when actions are unreal, abstract, or future" (link: http://web2.uvcs.uvic.ca/elc/s...

Geometry: Parallel lines
If AB || CD, what is the value of x? (please see the attached picture) (A) 75 (B) 85 (C) 95 (D) 105 (E) 115 Source: BTG Practice questions OA is A What confuses me is the following: if AB || CD then angle BAD is equal to angle ADC; so, angle BAE is 5 degrees (60-55). Cancelling
c(a-b) > d(a-b)
Can someone please explain why I cannot cancel (a-b)from both sides of the inequality? An example with concrete numbers will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
