I want to share my story in order to try to motivate all those trying to get into Business School, but are frustrated with their poor GMAT attempts. I have always sucked at CAT Exams, so I knew the GMAT was going to be a disaster. I had no idea the mess I was getting myself into though. For a summar...

Hello all, I am a recent graduate, and I would like to study in the USA. I have a school in mind and I am currently preparing my application. The GMAT scares me. I am appauling at maths, and the overall test seems very difficult. I need at least 650 on this test, I want to get 700 just to be on the...

I honestly would not waste my time in retaking the GMAT if you already scored a 670 and the GMAT average for your target schools is at or around 680. You seem to have a very well rounded curriculum with good work experience, a solid GMAT score and a fantastic GPA from an accredited University. There...

I think that you should retake your GMAT. You are not that far behind the GMAT average for very good schools such as Babson College, Notre Dame, Tulane and such. If you are frustrated and don't want to take the GMAT again, I would focus on European Business Schools which can accept lower GMAT scores...

If I remember correctly, the average GMAT score at Mannheim Business School Germany is around 650. However, since you belong to Costa Rica(I'm assuming that from your profile name) and business schools seek diversity,so you should be fine with 620. However, a score lesser than that may put you in a...

GMAT in 30 days - NEED HELP!

I have to take the GMAT exam next March and I need to score a 600 or more (625 - 650 is my target) in order to gain admission for a full-time MBA at Mannheim Business School in Germany. Last time I took the test, I didn't study at all and I got a 450 so I know I am capable of doing better. Nonethele...

Well, my study plan is in full motion now. This is my 3rd day of study time with the MGMAT and I think I'm on the right track. I have cleared a lot of fundamental gaps in my quantitative and I have learned a few tricks for DS. My first practice test is due on Sunday! Thanks everyone for their input!!!

GMATprep is of course the best resource out there for CATs. I understand MGMAT is a close second, so I suppose your plan is OK. However, if you do want more practice, you could always go for more tests. I have not used the Princeton Review tests, but I have taken all Kaplan CATs. My opinion is that...

Which practice tests do you recommend I focus on? I'm thinking on doing MGMAT and GMAT Prep. Do you think I should also use Princeton and Kaplan and alternate them weekly?

One of the reasons you ended up with such an unexpectedly low score is probably the fact that you did not use the right resources. Don't get me wrong: the OGs are essential for practice, but you also need a general/specific strategy guide, like the MGMAT series that you've bought. Seems to me that ...
