is X-Y>R-S?

Is X-Y>R-S? 1) X>R and Y<S 2) y=2, s=3, r=5 and X=6 ------------------------------------------------ I had solved this problem as follows, 2) y=2, s=3, r=5 and X=6, since all the terms are clearly stated the required condition Is X-Y>R-S? can be tested and the answer is unique. so the statement 1 it...

my answer is C

EXPLANATION:

statement 1)
gives only the ratio of length to width so can't find the width
L:W=7:2

statement 2)
gives 2(L+W)=396, which is not sufficient to find W

1) & 2) together 2 unique and different equations so the two unknown terms L and W can be found.

Each term after second term is sum of two terms immediately preceding terms => K3=k2+k1 k4=k3+k2 k4=k2+k1+k2 k4=2k2+k1 //y k5=3k2+2k1 so the terms in the sequence can be generalized in the form of Kn=k2 + (n-3)(k2+k1) =>K9=k2+6(k1+k2) and K5=K2+2(k1+k2) statement 1 K4=11 we know k5 and k4 (this is n...

Crows range is 100 to 130 kms, where as the change in roosting site is only 8kms, which means they will be still hunting in the same area, implying that depletion of food resources can't be a reason for shifting their roost.

As this shows that people are happy because they have pets which implies that people won't be happy if they don't have pets.

Re: Tracheophytes

.. the argument is that, C does not belong to T, all P belong to T and finally no P belongs to H. The necessary assumption is no C belongs to P and hence my choice is E Though choice B looks plausible we cannot conclude or assume that all H are C, since it could be belong to some other type also.
