Actually you are correct. Time studying doesn't matter at all. You shouldn't demean anyone regardless of how long/little they studied or how high/low his/her scores are. I rather look stupid for 5 minutes than be ignorant for life. Please leave the attitude off the board. Don't respond to the questi...

What's the source of this question? I can't imagine a gmat question testing a somewhat esoteric formula without another way of doing this. Also, r,s>0 suggests that there's another way of doing this problem if you don't know that formula. Anyone know another approach? Please leave the attitude off t...

Definitely go private. I would recc Ian Stewart (not in Seattle) if you can get him. I'm sorry to say this but Kaplan/Princeton are the Walmarts of test prep. They are geared toward getting people above 600. I took them a while back and have to say its a complete waste of time and money. Manhattan g...

GMAT Help
I just took the official GMAT and received 650. 40 and 40. I don't get it. I got 760+ on both Gmat prep tests. 730, 760, 760 on 3 manhattan gmat. took 3 gmat focus test with predicted score of 48-50. My rate on the OG 12 questions is around 85% on the math (timed), 95% verbal. My last gmat prep, yes...

i was merely using that as an example of how surprise i was ie to demonstrate how "strange" it was to me. if u never seen perm and combo and then u saw it on the test then that would surprise the hell out of u. that was my reaction when i saw some of the problems on there. i took it 5 days...

yes thats exactly what i'm saying. for example: none of the books covered combination permutation and all of a sudden you get permutation and combination. not like weighted average cuz thats just algebra. i guess u can say combination and permutation is just counting but thats really stretching it. ...

new quant questions?
just gave the test; I was surprised at the amount of "strange" questions I saw. Specifically in the quant section. I think I've covered all the books exhaustively and never seen anything similar (MGMAT, KAP, PR, OG, and gmatclub tests). I usually score in the range of 44-50 on practice tes...

Old question. It's been discussed here a few times. My question is if my source is wrong. This is the exact passage from the book (I've checked it for mistake. No errors). I picked D but the answer is E. Because E, as is doesn't seem to make sense to me. I searched the forum and other people posted ...

I think their refers to forecasts not the soundness of the forecasts. If you insert the soundness of the forecasts into E, it doesn't make any sense. Not only the that the soundness of the forecasts is singular. ForecastS is plural. Because the management of a large corporation is will often refer t...
