Option A has a pronoun agreement error. Subject and object pronouns cannot refer back to possessive nouns; they must refer only to subject and object nouns. The subject in this sentence is "Agatha Christie's travels," not Agatha Christie herself. The first instance of "her" is co...

IMO A t^2 + 5t + 6 = t^2 + 3t + 2t +6 =(t+2)(t+3), Stmnt 1 = t gives remainder of 6 when divided by 7. => t+1 is a multiple of 7. So t+2 will give 1 as remainder and t+3 will give 2 as remainder. Hence remainder of (t+2)(t+3) will give remainder as 1 * 2 = 2 always. Sufficient. stmnt 2 : t^2 gives r...

IMO D. Stmnt 1: w + x + y + z = 13 Sufficient (Note: A number is divisible by 9 when the sum of its digits is divisible by 9) If the some of digits any number is 13, when divided by 9 will always give the remainder as 4. Just divide the sum of the digits by 9 you will get the remainder. Stmnt 2: N +...

Stmnt 1:
Insufficient
We just have the first no = 15
the series would be like 15,18,21,24,27 .. but we don't know whats the last number so can't calculate Median.
Stmnt 2:
Sufficient
Coz in an AP ( Rn = Rn-1 + 3), Median = Mean.
Mean is given, median will be the same i.e. 36.

IMO A. 1st thing z cannot be equal to 6 coz if z = 6 the HCF of 6 & 12 will be 6 and not 3 . (To find the GCF of given numbers, resolve the numbers into their prime factors and then pick the common term(s) from them and multiply them if more than one.) 6 = 2 * 3 12 = 2 * 2 * 3 GCF = 2*3 = 6 Simi...

IMO B
qn : is A^2 + A > - B^2
stmnt 1:
A^2 + B^2 = 1
=> A^2 - 1 = - B^2
Now to check whether A^2 + A > - B^2 we can check:
whether A^2 + A > A^2 - 1 ?
or A > -1 ?
as A could be any number, could be > -1 or < -1 or = -1
So stmnt 1 is insufficient.
