You should jump up and down and be thrilled with your score. Nice job, even under difficult circumstances you pulled a score that we all want. Anything above 700 is gravy and with your work experience you can apply to any school with confidence.
Congratulations!

I think the answer is E
If x>-4, x could be either positive or negative, Insufficent
If x>5 or x<-5, x could be either positive or negative, insufficent.
Looking at both together, we cannot tell if x>0 from the three inequalities we have.

You may have misread the question. The phone company charges 1/2 it's normal charge for Sunday calls, regardless of whether the caller has made any other calls. So if I make 200 minutes of calls on Sunday only and no other calls during weekdays, my bill will be $10 for the month. the 1000 minute thr...

The scores on the application are "self reported", meaning that you tell them what you scored. So if you can say on January 6th what your composite score is, you're all set. They verify the score later in the admission process. Usually they don't check the offical report until you're fairl...

The Kaplan CD that comes with Kaplan Premier is really good for training on verbal. So is Kaplan 800.

Be happy with a 700. Why go through another month or more of torture just to try and raise your score by a few points. What if it goes down, or you schedule the test and realize just before you go that you haven't improved your verbal? That's $250 dollars down the drain. Keep the money, save your sa...

you can download the GMATprep software from MBA.com, where you registered for the test. It's the best gauge of your ability for the real test. Take one at the start of your studies and one towards the end. Also every other study system has software and websites with practice tests. I personaly thing...

Sure, plenty of weak areas to discuss: Quant: Inequalities Probability DS in general Timing Verbal: SC The problems seem a lot harder after doing math for 75 minutes. I've been drilling using the OG for the past 3 nights. 78 problems per night, 20 PS, 17 DS, 10 RC, 20 CR and 11 SC. Trying to keep it...

Took GMATprep this weekend. Bombed it. got a 590. Q36, V34. I'd been scoring 630 and 640 on MGMAT tests, untimed. I could feel myself running out of steam on both sections. Timing was an issue on both. I was able to read all the questions but could see I was getting behind at about the 20th question...

Your age could be an advantage in the application process. Most schools are looking to build a diverse student body, so it can be good if you're outside the normal age demographic. The idea being that you'll bring a different point of view to the group.
At least that's what I'm hoping. I'm 31.

Just scheduled the test - 28 days to G-Day
I think I'm going to throw up. I just scheduled my test. I've been working on math theory and short cuts for the past two months. I keep thinking I'm close to being ready and then I'll go for a few days without studying and get scared and push back my plans. I was talking with my wife yesterday and ...
