When I originally set out, I wanted 700+. Now that I have a 710, I want 740+. I dont know how it is across the pond, but stateside, a 700 is just average for top level programs. I'd go for a retake, if you dont go higher, atleast you hit 700... Also, I strongly believe that anyone who is smart enoug...

710 Q48 V39...This story is absurd...
Finally took the beast today (September 3 2009) but I had terrible testing experience. I'll give you guys a basic debrief now, and come back in more detail later on. ***Anyone who can comment on this story please do. I'm a little burnt out after today and could use good some advice, and a beer.*** ...

GMAT in 4 days...how to deal with the stress/anxiety?
On my CAT's that I've been using to get ready for this, I've been scoring in the low to mid 700's when I am totally relaxed...
However, when I am stressed about the CAT, my overall score comes down 30-50.
Any advice you guys have for dealing with the stress on test day?

I hear you...kinda scary to think but youre right, average MBA scores are creeping up. If you think about it though, how high could they really go? At some point the averages will have to stop rising because the GMAT percentiles and scores will be adjusted. If you got a 720, I'd say retake. But 730 ...

Waaaait a second
I think I figured it out...CBO=2BAO:
1. AB=OC
2. OC=OB (Both are radii)
2.5 OB=AB
3. <BOA=<BAO (Isosceles Triangle)
4. <CBO=2BAO (CBO is the exterior angle of the triangle, equal to the sum of the two non-adjacent angles.)
Let me know if I'm wrong.

Sounds like a fluke.
Dude you might just be the one that ends up saving my a**... Right now I am 2.5 weeks out from my first GMAT, and my practice scores are basically identical to yours. I have come to realize that it is just to hard to move up from 700, as it was to get to 700. At least in "CAT land". I've b...

2nd Question...
Using Statement 2, You can determine that it is a 60-60-60 Triangle...Therefore the arc XZ is 120 degrees, or 1/3 of the circle...Using Statement 1, you are told that the remaining portion of the circle, the other 2/3 is = to 18...
2/3=18 so 3/3=27...Answer should be C....
