I recommend that you create a one page resume for the schools that don't post specific requirements. You can also call the admissions office and ask this question (anonymously).
A "personal" section is certainly appropriate for a b-school resume.

Technically, if you count the number of months from September through May of each academic year of the program, you will arrive at 18 months. But most people consider it to be a two year program. Hope that helps!
