Does anybody know if schools give their decision earlier than the decision date? And if so, how early in the process? This waiting period is tough! I hear that! The waiting is killing me! DONE! 730 (48Q, 42V)
I'm done! I took the GMAT today and scored 730. I got a 48 in Quant, which was higher than all of my practice tests, and a 42 in Verbal, which was lower than most. Admissions decisions by phone?
I have heard of some schools calling candidates in advance of the regular notification deadlines to inform them of admissions decisions. Can anyone comment on how common this is?

Weird... I finished and got to a review screen from which I could look at the answers. The review screen showed me the number incorrect on each section, but no scores. I wracked my brain for like 15 minutes trying to find them. Oh well...

Hey Guys,
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I took the first practice test on the GMATPrep software and can't see my total score. Do I need to calculate it myself?
I thought it would give it to me since it is adaptive...

Question about square roots on the GMAT, from a DS problem
Hey All, I encountered the problem: If (sqrt x)/y = n, what is the value of x? 1) yn = 10 2) y=40 and n=1/4 I simplified the stem to x = sqrt (ny) Both 1 & @ give yn = 10, thus x = sqrt(10) I thought this made the answer positive or negative (ie. sqrt (4) is either -2 or 2), so 1 & 2 each ga...
