you should try basic math and pre- algebra for dummies by mark zegarelli (not sure of the spelling)...it can't get more basic then that... as for other...i'm currently using both veritas and manhattan gmat books for quant...if u don't have time or money i wud recommend the manhattan gmat quant books...

are you refering to the manhattan gmat prep course books...i just purchased the 5 quant books and they had the 4th edition (according to the site and the person i spoke to it is the latest edition)...they were on sale too...however, i would suggest you email them or call them to confirm...

OG companion book
wanted to find out if anyone has used either GMAT FIX or GMAT HACK as companion book to the OG...and how effective are they...meaning are they good for only hard problems (quant) or do they have good suggestions for easy problems too...
