Hi italian7745, I too got same score 690 but with different splits (Q48, V36) in my 3rd attempt. I can understand your frustration. I was also surprised and disappointed with my Quant score as I was scoring high in Quant in practice tests. When I saw question on sphere I thought I should have been a...

690 (Q48, V36) - So Near yet so far
Folks,
Took GMAT today and scored 690 (Q48, V36).
Tad disappointed with my Quant score coz I have been scoring Q50s consistently
This was my 3rd attempt. My journey has been from 570 --> 590 --> 690.

I agree with the posters here. I took Knewton CAT recently and scored only 600 (Q45, V28). I got only a few qns (5) wrong in Quant, yet I got only Q45 as scaled score. Having said that, however, I would like to point out that the Knewton Verbal section was pretty good, especially CR questions seemed...

AFAIK, 750 is 98th percentile
760+ is 99th percentile.

Pattern is: 1 2 4 7 11 16 22 29
Differences are: 1 2 3 4 5 .....
Thus each term in the sequence can be defined as tn = Sigma(n-1) + 1
Thus t60 = (59*60)/2 + 1 = 1770 + 1 = 1771.
D is the answer.

Just a small change. It should be ((5-2)/2)*100 = 150% i think. we should see that for a "common minutes", how many times do both fish (OK, whale is a mammal! :)) comes up. That common minute would be nothing else, but LCM of 2,5 = 10. So if you find the percentage change for 10 minutes, i...

5 couples => 10 people.
3-member committee needs to be formed, which can be done in 10C3 ways.
However, it includes married couples. 1 married couple can be selected in 5C1 ways. Another
one person can be selected in 8C1 ways.
thus, the answer is 10C3 - 5C1 * 8C1 = 120 - 5*8 = 80.
hence d

Fairly simple.
A = P(1+R/100)^n
Compounted Quarterly => n = 2 R = 4/4 = 1%
Thus A = 10,000 (1+ 1/100) ^ 2
= 10000 * (101 * 101) / (100 * 100)
= (101 * 101) = 10201
