I guess it depends on how much more time are u going to spend on the first 10 questions? If it means, you rush through guessing the last 10 questions, or even worse dont manage to finish the test - then I would say its a bad strategy. If it means spending 23 mins, rather than 20 mins on the first 10...

absolutely - from my own experience, if you start to hit the 2 minute mark, and u have managed to narrow down the answer choices it is always wise to make an educated guess and move on. Hey, it also helps to write out a "timing grid" on your paper to keep track of things.
Its on this website (somewhere!) and also on my blog.

This website, is also a fantastic resource for learning how to solve problematic questions. I used to search the specific questions I got wrong, and then learn how others solved them.

Career Goal
Hi I have a career goal question. Most people's long term career aspirations in the essays are quite extravagant and interesting such as setting up their own company, working for the world bank etc. How about if my real career aspiration is to work in equity research focusing on the tech sector. (I ...

Congrats on the score!
I agree time management is very important! Don't sacrifice the rest of your test with over-obsession with the first 10 questions.

Hi there. I took GMAT prep one twice and GMAT prep two twice. It really depends on how many questions you recognised, as from my experience there are a decent amount of questions available in the GMAT prep question bank. One thing though is if you do recognise questions you will normally solve them ...

You should definitely run through the 2 GMAT prep CAT tests which can be downloaded from www.mba.com. Same format as the real thing and same standard of questions too.
Should be indicative of what u will get in the real thing!
I ran through each prep test twice as different questions come up.
