probability cases:

Jack and Ace = 4/52*4/51 P(A)

Ace and Jack = 4/52*4/51 P(B)

together = P(A)+P(B)= 8/663

should be A.

Let 100 be the number of flowers in the garden.

40 roses, 60 carnations,

1/4 of 40= 10 red roses, 1/10 of 60 = 6 red carnations,

probability of red roses= number of red roses/(red roses + red carnations)

P= 10/16

p=5/8

should be D.
