Thanks to everyone for the good wishes Vineet: For any CRs, I never take notes. For me, it takes time to first write things down and then understand them. I take mental notes about different information given. According to me, for difficult CRs, it is ok to take 3+ mins to solve them. It is alright ...

I got 4 RCs. To be honest, none of them was a small one. The first 3 were almost 1.5 times the length of a "normal big" RC one would see in the gmat prep tests. the fourth one was bigger than a "normal small" RC. The first RC question I got was a boldface, question 6. After that ...

I appreciate the good wishes, thanks to everyone so far. The break-up was: Quant: 50 (93%) Verbal: 44 (97%) Total: 760 (99%) Only one method seems to work for me when I prepare RC. I take mental notes as I read the passages and then summarize each paragraph after I read it inside my mind. For exampl...

700 to 760...
I would like to start off this post by thanking all people associated with this forum. Thanks to Eric, other moderators and everyone who has answered even a single question, we all have benefited. On the test day, it was pretty cold and my hands were barely moving. Typing helped warm my hands up. De...

700... very very interesting...
I gave GMAT today and got 700. I have been accessing most sections of this website and I wanted to thank everyone who has ever contributed to beat the gmat. Websites such as BTG certainly help out a lot of people like me and I appreciate all the effort put in by the administrators and people who mak...

I think it depends on the colleges you apply to. If the degree you apply to requires a good knowledge of quant, i.e. engineer, finance, etc. your quant score should be higher. But do remember, your score is a good one ...

(C) is correct... if you look at the structure of the "as" clause, you have to compare one clause to another using "as", here (b) tries to compare a word (many) with an entire clause. This is incorrect.

Are these sentence constructions correct?
I came across these sentence contructions in one of the popular SC notes on this site and I was wondering if these sentences are correct... 1. He is shorter than she 2. He is as depressed as they, but he soldiered onward anyway In the first sentence, "is" is omitted after "she", ...

the biggest reason in parallelism, "that" has to be parallel with the second usage of "that", another reason is the misplaced "it" at the end

are you sure about the OA? It looks like (C) to me. The second sentence depends on the first for its existence, therefore a semicolon should not be used.
