I think the answer is B.

1) We don't know no. of item in the sequence, so we couldn't calulate the fouth item.

The question ask what is r when (n^2-1^2)/24 (n^2-1^2)/24 = (n^2 - 1)/24 1) 2 not a factor of n if n = 9 (n^2-1^2)/24 = (81-1)/24 r = 9 if n = 11 (n^2-1^2)/24 = (121-1)/24 r = 1 2 different value of r, so not sufficient 2) same as 1) you will find different value of r not sufficient 1) + 2) If n is ...

ddoonie wrote:If the answer is A, then this is how i got it...

Find slope of line L
y1-y2/x1-x2
2-0/0-(-3) = 2/3

Parallel line has same slope, so find equation with same slope..

A. 3y-2x = 0
3y=2x
y=(2/3)x
I got the same answer. agree with A

I think there is something missing of the graph.

Is angle "B" a right angle ?
If B is a right angle, we can find AB = sqrt(3),

detail please check here http://www.platinumgmat.com/gmat_study_ ... an_theorem

BC = 1
AB = sqrt(3)

BC * AB * 1/2 = sqrt(3)/2
