Q1: 100 = 50 + 30 + 20 - (people who like 2 products) - 2(5) + 15 (Since it's a percent question, just let total number = 100.) Q2 : 70 = 40 + 30 + 35 - (exactly 2 courses) - 2(15) + 0 (All 70 are in one of the subjects, so "none" = 0.) Thank you so much , i could understand clearly now, ...

Okay so you have 5 rings A B C D and E For the first finger how many options do you have ? 5 After that you have 4 rings to choose for the third finger...and so on 5x4x3x2 = 120 different ways. Note that this method is really just another way to apply the 3 set equation quoted by Ronnie. If you're an equation person, it's a good equation to know.
